Saturday Class Schedule (Starting September
15):
Acting -
Mark Morgan
10:00
AM (Ages 13+): This Advanced
class starts with improvisations and moves into work on scenes. Actors will discover how to use their experiences and imagination
to create a character in a musical or play. In an atmosphere of creativity and self-discovery, students will come to
understand and experience the level of preparation and discipline you will need to move forward to the next level in theater.
We’ll also work on how to prepare for auditions and cold readings.
11:00 AM (Ages 5 - 9): This Beginner class allows
your young actor to enjoy the feeling of trying something new and making new friends. Students will be introduced to
theatrical concepts including character development, play production, and performance by exploring various theater games,
improvisation skits, and scene work from children’s musicals in this fun and exciting class.
12:00 PM (Ages 10 - 12): This Intermediate class allows young actors to explore all the magic and mysteries in an
actor's toolbox during this skills and techniques class. Students will develop their acting skills by working on
core elements of theater: improvisation, ensemble making, vocalization, movement, and creativity. Students will discover what
makes a good actor great. This class is a complete theater experience
that includes warm-up theater games and acting exercises, with an emphasis on building collaborative and communication skills.
Dance - Jody Haggerty
9:00 AM - Combo Class (Jazz / Musical Theater / Tap, Ages 5 - 9): This class will be a
combination of Jazz / Musical Theater / Tap Dance that will focus on learning and reviewing proper dance technique. This class
is ideal for the beginner or the advanced beginner with some previous training.
10:00 AM - Beginner /
Intermediate Tap (Ages 10+): The students will learn and review the basics of tap. This class is ideal for the beginner tapper and the advanced beginner
/ intermediate student who has some previous training.
11:00 AM - Beginner / Intermediate Jazz
/ Musical Theater (Ages 10+): This Jazz / Musical Theater Dance class will focus on teaching and expanding on proper dance technique. This
class is ideal for the older beginner dancer and the intermediate dancer with some previous experience.
12:00
PM - Ballet (Ages 10+): This class is designed for students who already has some dance experience. Students will continue to learn ballet
technique that would be needed in theater. Enrollment in this level is upon approval of Miss Jody.
Voice

9:00 AM (Ages 10+): Musical theater songs that are fun to learn and sing are taught and will allow students
to celebrate the joy of using their voices while learning to sing in a healthy way. More challenging warmups and musical
exercises allow students to experiment and discover their voices, while rounds and cannons, harmonies and musical games encourage
the pleasure of singing with others. Stretches and posture exercises will also be incorporated. Each session will
present a new set of popular musical theater songs with a range of melody, rhythm, creativity, and some intermediate music
theory.
10:00 AM (Ages 6 - 9): Musical theater songs that are fun to learn and sing are taught and will allow students
to celebrate the joy of using their voices while learning to sing in a healthy way. Warmups and musical exercises allow students

Dance - Jody Haggerty
4:30 PM - Intermediate / Advanced Tap (Ages 10+): This class is for the more experienced tap dancer. Enrollment in this level is upon approval of Miss Jody.
5:30 PM- Stretch / Conditioning (All Ages): This class is open to everyone, especially if they are registered for a dance class.
The class will do extensive stretch, cardio, abs etc.
6:30 PM- Intermediate / Advanced Jazz / Musical Theater (Ages 10+): This class will focus
on technique for the dancer who has had some previous training. Enrollment in this level is upon approval of Miss Jody.
