We are honored to serve as Co-Chairs of Moorestown Theater Company’s 14th Annual Extrava-Gala on Saturday, October 19th at 6:00pm at the Riverton Country Club. If you have never been to an MTC Gala, let us tell you that it is one of the highlights of the year. And, if you have joined us in the past, we hope you will again this year. There will be an exciting Silent Auction/raffle, gaming tables, special performances, cocktails, dinner, and dancing. This year the theme is “Speakeasy” – a festive party harkening back to the roaring twenties.
We have been a part of the MTC family since 2021 when our oldest daughter attended her first summer camp session (outdoors) in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Little did we know that four years and 16 productions later, MTC would be our “home away from home.” We have witnessed first-hand the positive benefits that theater performance can have on children – from developing self-confidence and teamwork skills to forging close friendships. What makes MTC so unique is its unwavering dedication to providing opportunities for all children, including those with neuro-diversities through the wonderful and inspiring Penguin Project program. This past year alone, MTC served 540 children! Bravo!
With 16 annual productions, Moorestown Theater Company is one of the most vibrant and active community theaters in the country. While registration fees and ticket sales cover a portion of the theater’s annual operations, MTC must rely on generous donors to continue to fulfill its mission of Education, Imagination and Transformation. The Extrava-Gala is our biggest fundraiser of year providing critical financial support to allow MTC to grow and have a deeper impact on our community.
